Green Beard?

I have heard of "Blue Beard" before, but never Green Beard. La Barbe Verte...
This is how Hugh came home from school yesterday.

Hugh painted green.

The teacher said that there is always one kid who will experiment with paint in this way. But why did it have to be my kid?
